4th of July Throw Down

Families from our Small Group at Faith waiting on the fireworks to begin.

The second annual July 4th cookout was a huge success - at least that's what we hear! We certainly enjoyed having our friends and family over to enjoy some good ole BBQ and we hope they enjoyed it also! We definitely couldn't have hosted without the help of Mike and Liz, my parents, and Kyle, aka "Master Chef and holder of the secret Haskew BBQ sauce." His ribs turned out fantastic as usually - and this is coming from someone who's already eaten them for 3 different meals in less than 48 hours!

My parents came decked out in patriotic attire and laden with two Boston butts and a ton of other food. Friends brought desserts and all together we certainly had a spread! After food and games and conversation, we headed to downtown Homewood to watch the fireworks over Vulcan. Thanks everyone for coming and helping and sharing the holiday with us! We had such a great time!
