Take me out to the ball game...

On Friday night Robert's company hosted a picnic at the Hoover Met - free admission to the Baron's game (Bham's minor league baseball team), lots of free food, and even a fireworks show after the game. Since it was technically a "family picnic," we were originally going to take my family, but my two youngest brothers were at the beach with the church youth group so we rounded up a bunch of friends - Jake, Parker, Rob, Anne, Leigh, Margaret, and Emily - to join in on the fun.

The funniest part of the game was when a player on the other team hit one out but then tripped after rounding first on his way to second and literally fell on this face. Everyone in the stadium was laughing - even his own teammates. I wish I had gotten a picture. Here are some photos from the evening:
