I think we started unwrapping gifts at the latest time to date. It was a Summerville family record in Christmas morning tardiness. It was seriously about 10 a.m. before we got the party started. Blame can be placed on the fact that Ryan, my baby brother, is now a teenager and enjoys sleeping more than opening presents on Christmas morning. Greater blame can be placed on the fact Robert brought Guitar Hero and our Wii to the house, addicted my three brothers to it almost immediately, and stayed up with them until 4 a.m. trying to beat the game.

The boys actually got their own Wii and accessories for Christmas (not sure how it's working out since David, bitter he no longer lives at the house, vowed to take a crucial component to Tuscaloosa with him). We were actually worried the boys might get a Wii since two nights before when Ryan bought us a second guitar for Guitar Hero as our Christmas present and then subsequently vowed to take it back for himself if he got a Wii. Luckily, he didn't follow through with his threat but did rewrap the guitar for Robert to open Christmas morning after they had played it all night! Gotta love that wrapping job.

My brother Kyle's nickname is Buddy Manfred. I don't know. You'll have to ask my dad. There's really no reasoning behind it. Kyle recently retured from a trip to Oklahoma to visit a friend, and mom and dad thought it would be hilarious to greet him at the airport with these signs! We were still finding them useful on Christmas.
