Facebook

So, we all knew Facebook was taking over our lives, but now we have the cold hard data to prove it. A FORTUNE magazine article appropriately titled "How Facebook is taking over our lives," gives an interesting recap of the growth of the social networking site in recent years. Granted, part of that growth comparative to other technologies has to do with the fact that now more people than ever have access to the internet, but still, when everyone's mamma (including mine) is on Facebook, you know it's gotta be pretty popular - and widespread.

I especially like the sidebar graphs that accompany the article comparing the growth of Facebook with other once-modern technologies such as ipods, cell phones, and even TV. I've posted one of the graphs below, but check out the article for others.
